In July 2023, Rickie Fowler ended his four-year wait for a PGA Tour title at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The win, which was watched and applauded by many, ended a difficult couple of years on the professional circuit, with Fowler rekindling his old form.
He currently has eight top-10s on the PGA Tour, including nearly winning his first major at the U.S. Open. Clearly, these performances depended not only on the efforts of coach Butch Harmon, but also on the equipment Fowler put in his bag, one of which was the impressive Aerojet LS Driver, which Models are currently heavily discounted. After checking out some of Amazon’s Prime Day Golf deals, this is one of the best deals we’ve found, with the LS on sale for less than $470 right now.
It’s one of the best Cobra drivers we’ve tested and improves upon our favorite LTDx drivers. As the name suggests, the technology built into this club is designed to help you increase the speed of your game. How you might ask? Cobra incorporates a more streamlined shape into its design to help golfers hit the ball faster.

While Fowler may not be the biggest hitter on tour, he has the second-best driving efficiency. That means he’s one of the best when it comes to the energy he can transfer to the ball with clubhead speed.
That certainly says a lot about the Aerojet, with its compact club head delivering high ball speeds while significantly reducing the amount of golf ball spin compared to its sister clubs, the Cobra Aerojet and Aerojet Max.

One thing we did notice with this club is that it sounds a bit muted at impact compared to some of the best golf clubs we’ve tested. Depending on your preferences, we think this might be better suited for players with faster swings who might not want too much metal on their shots. It also features a large sweet spot, a HOT face and a PWR-BRIDGE, which Cobra says helps transfer energy between the club and ball.
Fowler has been known to wear some of the coolest designs in the game, and this visually stunning cue has plenty of shelf appeal too. It has a matte black face and topline that contrasts nicely with the smooth carbon fiber head.
Cobra also added pops of red and blue on the sole, again adding a premium touch. With an $84 savings during Prime Day, this club is an excellent option for any experienced player or steady hitter looking for a low-spin driver.
